It is now time to consider how to evaluate your teaching lesson.
Chapter 14 outlines the RSA Evaluation model. This week, builds upon the work already completed so far in the class. I would like you to apply this model using the goal and objectives you developed for this week’s discussion that uses the case study you developed in Module 4. In at least 700 words, and without using first person language (i.e., I, we, our), explain how you would evaluate the lesson at each of the following levels:
- List in bullet form your clearly defined goal and objectives and a brief (2-3 sentences) description of your lesson.
- Define and explain a way you could conduct a process evaluation for whether the lesson needs to be modified while it is being taught (Formative Evaluation).
- Define the term content evaluation and explain how you would measure whether the learners acquired the message(s) being taught in your specific lesson.
- Define the term summative evaluation and explain how you would determine whether the goal and objectives were met for your specific lesson.
- Define impact evaluation and explain how you could evaluate the long-term impact of this lesson on learners in your specific lesson.
