Concordia University Equipment Inventory Control and Accountability Paper
Submit Assignment: Equipment Inventory Control and Accountability
When purchasing any kind of equipment, the athletic director assumes responsibility for both fiscal considerations and safety considerations. “The inventory process can be daunting, but it is necessary in order to be more financially responsible with the athletic budget” and “unacceptable equipment can be disposed of“ (Pabst, 2013).
Both inventory control and equipment accountability will be addressed with this assignment. Chapter 15 of the text provides descriptions and samples of both types of documents. First, develop an inventory control checklist for a hypothetical athletic department of six different sports teams.
Students should list the sports and then develop the checklist for each of the six. Next, construct an accountability document that could be used across any sport.
